A satchel is a bag, often with a straps. The strap is often worn so that it diagonally crosses the body, with

The main difference between a satchel and a briecase is that a satchel is soft-sided. Also, satchels often have straps while briefcases usually don't.

Satchel bir canta markasidir, genellikle kayisli dir. Bu kayis genellikle diagonel olarak omuzdan asilir ve kalca hizasinda takilir. Bu cantalar aslinda eski zamanlarda kitaplari korumak icin kullanilirmis. Normal bir evrak cantasi ile satchel arasinda ki fark sudur ki; satchel daha yumusaktir. Ve satchellarin askilari ile sirtada asilabilir olmasi, siradan evrak cantalarindan onu ayiran bir baska ozellik olarak karsimiza cikiyor.
